Enamel Pin Grading Guide

Since enamel pins are handmade, slight variations and minor flaws may occur during the manufacturing process rendering pins to rarely be considered "perfect". Below is a guide we use to grade each enamel pin carefully and send everyone the best pins possible!Please refer to this grading guide before purchasing ♡

☆ Standard Pins (A-grade) ☆These are the highest quality pins that we offer. These pins have minor imperfections that are only visible upon close inspection, which may include:- minor scratches and scruffs on the metal or enamel surfaces
- low-fill enamel in small areas of the enamel
- slight overfill of enamel on the side of the pin
- minor plating imperfections (including excess metal) on the side or back
- tiny pores or air bubbles on the metal or enamel
- slightly misaligned screen-printing

☆ Seconds Pins (B-grade) ☆These pins exhibit more noticeable flaws that are offered at discounted pricing. However, these pins are still great to be worn! These imperfections may include one or more of the following:- scratches or scruffs on the metal or enamel surfaces
- excess over- or low-fill enamel in larger regions of the pin
- centralized plating imperfections
- large/excess pores or air bubbles or dust particles
- misaligned or missing screen-printing
- wiggly posts
- wrong enamel pin colours
